RUNNER & CAMERA ASSISTANT
Recent Projects
As you have probably guessed by now, I love films - watching, making and partaking!

I am excited to help, wherever I can, to make other people's ideas become a reality. Here are a few projects that I have had the opportunity to work on.

Do you need an extra pair of hands? Then get in touch.
Once Upon A Time On The Siegfried - Crow House Projects

Role: B-Camera Operator

Location: Aberdeen

Shoot Length: 5 Days

Experience: In August 2025, I participated in my third Crow House Shoot. Due to the large shot list required for this film, I was asked to operate a B-Camera unit as well as train up their 3rd cohort camera team.

Role: 1st Camera Assistant

Location: Aberdeen

Shoot Length: 5 Days

Experience: In December 2024, I participated in my second Crow House shoot of the year. Different from the last film, I was accepted to participate in their Accelerator Programme (cohort 2) from the beginning of the project. This meant I saw the entire process pan out from ideation right through to filming. After gaining more experience throughout the year, I was given the opportunity to focus pull and help train new members of the team.

A Few More Rowies - Aberdeen 48hr Film Festival

Role: Camera Operator, Sound designer and assistant editor.

Experience: In September 2024, I joined Team Potato, in my first ever 48hr film festival competition. I was super excited because I had heard a lot of good things about the festival and wasn’t sure what to expect. I can confirm it is very intense! Our team had to meet the following criteria to be included in our short:

Genre (picked at random): Climate or period

Prop: A rowie/ buttery

Line: “What’s for dinner?”

Character: Ian or Iona Ferguson (a guard)

Landmark/ Landscape: From Aberdeen or Aberdeenshire

Role: 2nd Camera Assistant and B-Cam Operator

Location: Cramond Island, Edinburgh.

Shoot Length: 3.5 Days

Experience: In July 2024, I received a phone call asking if I would like to be a 2nd AC for an up-and-coming film shoot for Black Mane Media. Of course, I jumped at the opportunity when I read the script and heard where it was going to be filmed. Our filming process was completely dictated by the tide coming in and out and it was an opportunity to work in a completely different city with new people who I had not worked with before. The experience was thrilling, with definitely quite a few bumps and close shaves along the way,  but again, I wouldn’t change it.

Role: 2nd Camera Assistant and B-Cam Operator

Location: The Town House, Aberdeen.

Shoot Length: 5 Days

Experience: In February 2024, Crow House Projects were on the hunt for people to help them bring their new horror film to life. The film was created as a result of their first film accelerator programme. I applied to help them and was asked to be a part of the camera team. It was on this shoot that I learned so many more skills on top of what I already knew. I learnt how to work as a part of a much larger team, how to operate more complex equipment and the specific roles and responsibilities that everyone has on a film set. Although at times it was very stressful and hard work, it was a fabulous experience and I would do it all again in a heartbeat.
