FAQs

FAQs
Do you cover wedding videography or have any wedding packages?
Although I have assisted as a second shooter at a handful of weddings, I do not provide any specific wedding packages myself.
How much does it cost to have a video created?
The cost very much depends on several factors, such as the project’s scope, the number of filming days, and post-production requirements. I always like to meet with you beforehand to gain a full understanding of the project, and then I provide you with a personalised quote based on our discussion and your goals, ensuring you get the best value for your investment.
Who is your client base?
I don't have a specific niche, but I have been lucky enough to work across a large number of different sectors, including: oil & gas, products, finance, education, events & awards, retail, sports and creative arts.

I love to understand your industry in depth as it helps me shape a message that resonates with your target audience.
Can you help with concept development and scriptwriting?
Yes — many clients come to me with an idea only. I can work with you on creative brainstorming, scripting, and storyboarding. This ensures your video isn’t just visually appealing but also aligned with your brand message.
What is your production process from planning to final delivery?
1. Get in touch:

We'll arrange a date that works for you to flesh out the details of the project. From there, I will draft up a proposal based on our discussion.

2. Pre-production:

If the proposal is accepted, then we move into the pre-production stages. This step can be done by you, me or both of us - we brainstorm, script, storyboard and fully explore all aspects of your project to make it the best it can be.

3. Production:

Once we have completed all the pre-production, we schedule the appropriate filming dates to create your dream video.

4. Post-production:

I then take the footage a work my editing magic and begin stitching together your video. I communicate with you throughout this process and keep you involved so you can monitor your edit.

5. Delivery:

Once you are happy with your edit, I will export your project in the desired format you like and then you are free to post it to the world.
What is your turnaround time for a finished video?
I work on a first-come-first-served basis when it comes to booking filming dates, but for editing, I try and accommodate based on your deadline, which could be anything from a few days for small projects to a few months for larger projects - it just depends on when you would like it.

I do ask that you enquire with enough time before your desired deadline. I like to have enough notice for all stages of the process so that your project isn't rushed in any way.
Do you offer social media–optimised formats?
With socials being such a massive part of our lives in today's world, of course, I offer edits in social media formats.

I can deliver videos in multiple aspect ratios and lengths, including 1:1 for Instagram, 9:16 for TikTok/Reels, 4:5 for LinkedIn and 16:9 for YouTube or presentations. I can also add captions, motion graphics, and call-to-action overlays for a bigger impact.
What equipment and techniques do you use to ensure high-quality footage?
I use professional DSLR cinema cameras, a range of lenses, stabilisation gear, and various lighting setups to help create your desired look and feel. Depending on the project, I can incorporate drones, sliders, or time-lapse equipment. Quality isn’t just about the gear — it’s about using the right tools to tell your story effectively.
Do you handle other aspects of production, including voiceovers, animation, and music licensing?
The short answer is yes - below is a greater explaination:

I have a music license which allows you to use any song from their provided library within your project with no risk of breaching copyright laws.

Although I can't provide all the extras in-house, I can coordinate with other local North East creatives to help us with your project if it is required. For example, I have collaborated with others who specialise in: acting, voiceovers, motion graphics, animation, second shooters and gaffing, so everything fits seamlessly into your video. I will handle all communication with them so you don’t have to juggle multiple vendors. I can also source quotes and arrange all the finer details for you too.
How do you handle revisions and feedback?
I include a set number of revision rounds in your proposal to ensure you’re 100% happy with the final product. We work collaboratively from the start to make sure our visions are the same.
